I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Ariel and Andrew had a windy, yet breathtaking Agate Beach Lodge Elopement followed by an epic reception at Cathedral Bothell in Seattle, WA. Agate Beach Lodge is located in Port Angeles, WA and brought so much magic to the images for this elopement! Overlooking the shoreline on the Olympic Peninsula, this modular A-frame brings such a unique touch to the perfect wedded bliss. This was my very first wedding at this venue, and I am so ecstatic to revisit with many more couples!
Additionally, outside of this Agate Beach Lodge Elopement being up there with some of my windiest weddings, I was shook to see that the bride’s hair went untouched- she remained a complete bombshell! Jocelyn DeChenne made for sure to brace our bride for anything the Washington weather had to offer. Meanwhile, Ariel just has this smile that just lights up every single room she enters, and it was such a blessing to be around her on the day that she smiled the most! She also incorporated her mother’s cathedral veil! It was a gorgeous touch. Surprisingly, the wind befriended her mother’s cathedral veil creating art that brought a punch to their images that I couldn’t believe!
During this breathtaking Agate Beach Lodge Elopement, the bride and groom were blessed by a circling bald eagle overhead! It was such an insanely cool experience! The pair popped champagne immediately following their nuptials, and jumped up and down with excitement. It was by far the most precious reaction.
Following their Agate Beach Lodge Elopement ceremony for golden hour photos, we adventured up to Hurricane Ridge where the mountain views were absolutely epic! The sunset was flawless and we were accompanied by little deer that decided to say “hey!” while we were on our way out. This elopement was far from short supply in the woodland creatures that popped in and out! Furthermore, I had my first time guest spotlight as an impromptu hair dresser and helped cover the bride pearls! Shortly after, I showed my wedding cake cutting skills and served all of the wonderful humans a sweet treat! However, not before their friend Garth stepped in to eat their slice! Absolutely historical to bare witness to.
Lastly, the following day, all of the guest joined Ariel and Andrew at Cathedral Bothell in Seattle, WA to have the party of a lifetime! The group munched on some phenomenal tacos and danced the night away! This was such a unique experience and a beautiful way to make their elopement completely about them.
