I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Kyle and Renee came up from sunny San Diego to tie the knot in the dreamy Pacific Northwest—and what better day to celebrate than Cinco de Mayo? With their closest family and friends, they gathered at Rosario Beach in Deception Pass State Park for an intimate, joy-filled day.
The morning started at a nearby beach house, where everyone got ready together. Kyle and Renee shared a sweet private first look on the balcony before heading off to say “I do.” I had the honor of driving them to the beach, and let me just say—they were too adorable in the back seat. Totally in awe of each other, laughing, flirting, completely smitten. I kept joking, “Get a room already!”
The details? So personal and thoughtful. Renee’s sister handmade her jewelry, and Kyle’s wedding band features Renee’s actual fingerprint embedded into the metal—check the detail shots, it’s the sweetest thing ever. Their ceremony overlooked the water, and let’s be real—they both cried the whole way through, in the best, most heartfelt way. Every single person there could feel just how deeply in love they are.
After family photos, we wandered up to Rosario Head for some golden hour portraits on the cliffs. The view was epic, the light was glowing, and these two couldn’t stop smiling at each other. To end the day, we all headed to a cozy Mexican restaurant for margaritas, cake-cutting, and a sparkler send-off under the stars—because what’s a Cinco de Mayo wedding without a little fiesta?
And the story of how they met? Iconic. Renee posted a Craigslist ad looking for a roommate. Kyle responded, met her, and completely forgot about his other roommate interview. She called him back, he moved in, and soon they were staying up late talking for hours. The rest is history.
Kyle and Renee, your love is real, playful, emotional, and full of heart. What a joy to witness the beginning of your forever!
