I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Jasmin and Kevin had a gorgeous Boho Ohme Gardens Wedding and it was oh so glamorous. These two are so beautiful and their wedding day was nothing short of amazing. They had bold burnt oranges, nude colors, a neon light with their initials, and all the heritage traditions. Jasmin and Kevin incorporated their Swedish, Mexican, and Persian wedding traditions into their Ohme Gardens ceremony and reception and it was incredibly unique and really fun to document. One of my favorite moments was when Kevin serenaded Jasmin and sang her a love song with his uncle playing the guitar. So beautiful! Among even more favorite moments was when Jasmin and Kevin had a coordinated dance, and then Jasmin and her Dad, and then Kevin and his mom ALL had their own dances together. Way too cool! This wedding was so stunning and really awesome- not even to mention Jasmin changed into her reception dress and blew us all away. AHH! All the things, you have to check out their gallery below.
Okay, this is how these two gorgeous people met: “We met studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. We were apart of a 30 person program. We spent our time abroad as friends mostly, and then we fell in love towards the end of our travels. Kevin and I were sharing a red umbrella one night in the rain, and he confessed his feelings and kissed me (don’t worry it was mutual). From then on we we’ve been together.”
This is how their romantic proposal went down: “Jazz is from Washington state, and always wanted to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. When we met she said that was on her bucket list hopefully one day. Maybe not the whole thing but parts of it. Part of the PCT goes through Washington. We also spent a lot of time in the mountains of Switzerland while we were abroad and that was special to our relationship. So her best friend Bri flew up one weekend to visit and she said she wanted to go see Mt. Ranier (Jazz didn’t know this was a ruse). So we took a trip up there and on the way down we stopped because we “happened upon” a part of the PCT. So we said lets go over there and just see it. Jazz was not enthused because she was cold and hungry haha. We refused to stop for food because we were on a schedule. She didn’t know that a bunch of our family and friends were waiting at this Swiss restaurant (because of where we met and Kevin is also Swiss) up by Mt. Ranier for a special dinner and celebration after. So we kept to a tight schedule to arrive on time. So we took her over to the trail and Kev asked Bri to take a picture. He got down on one knee instead and Bri filmed and took pictures. Then we told her we had secretly packed her a dress because we had a party to get to. When we arrived at the restaurant our family and friends were waiting for us up in the mountains too. It was a special day.”
And their wedding day was even more special! Cheers to Jasmin and Kevin!!
