Lake Easton Boho-Inspired Bridal Editorial

Oh my goodness, you guys! This is a good one! So my friend, Heather, and I decided to put together a Lake Easton Boho-Inspired Bridal Editorial styled shoot and it was totally magical. We spent months collecting items and talking to vendors to participate to make this styled shoot absolutely awesome. We had several local photographers attend so everyone could get some fun content for their portfolio and it was so amazing meeting and chatting with everyone who came! Not to mention how incredible our vendor team was for helping and creating everything we photographed!

This elopement style editorial was something my friend, Heather, and I wanted to put together to bring both of our photography styles into one shoot. Heather is super more editorial and desert chic, when I’m more fun-style forest, PNW style. So we put them both together and made this awesome shoot! Lisa and Seth were incredible models and looked at all the cameras! Couldn’t have asked for a better vendor team to make this idea a reality. It was so amazing meeting all these other wedding photographers, even ones just starting out and teaching them about how to photograph an elopement, details, and sharing my posing secrets. I’ve always wanted to take time and share my experiences and knowledge with younger photographers so this was really fun to do at our shoot. Anyway!

Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of styled shoots. They are not real elopements/ events, but putting it all together and showing what couples can do in the forest at a time when eloping is much more trendy and common due to the pandemic, that is super fun! SO I hope this shoot can be a sort of inspiration to anyone considering eloping. It’s super fun, easy to put together (sort of) and it’ll look gorgeous. 🙂 Enjoy, friends!
