Laura + Dan | Winter Gold Creek Pond Engagement

Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

Laura and Dan are engaged!! They had a magical winter Gold Creek Pond engagement session over the weekend and it was perfectly amazing. We got plenty of snow falling on us, an adorable couple, and their golden retriever, Barley, was mega sweet. I love adventuring to Gold Creek Pond in Snoqualmie Pass in the late fall and early winter because of the moodiness, the snow on top of the mountains, thick evergreens, and of course the famous reflection of the mountains on the pond. It seemed like every time I visited Gold Creek, it was always sunny and bright, but today it was cloudy, moody, and the perfect PNW vibes.

Laura and Dan are so adorable together and it was so fun adventuring with them around the park with their puppy. They’ve been together for 3 years and they love the outdoors so much and being surrounded by the mountains and forest, that they moved from the mideast to the pacific northwest! These two were so adorable together and their smiles together were gorgeous! They love hiking and being outside as much as possible so Gold Creek was so perfect for a little walk around the pond, and capturing every inch of this stunning location. The snow cam down quite hard on us at times, but it just made their session even more magical. Their session was one of my last ones of the year and it was such an amazing ending to one of the most crazy but amazing season!

One thing to keep in mind when visiting Gold Creek- totally go on a week day, not a weekend, and the bathrooms are now officially closed for the season, so please plan ahead. Also, please pick up your puppy poopie along the trails please. It’s free and you don’t need a pass to visit Gold Creek, so please, let’s try not to spoil it for everyone.

Anyway! This was such a fun and amazing day, and thank goodness the snow didn’t come down too harshly. It was such a gorgeous engagement session! Congrats to Laura and Dan!! Hope you both are super mega happy together and wedding plans go smoothly!
