I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Alright, guys, this is a good one! Yoandra and Octavio had a stunning Seattle Courthouse Elopement at the Seattle Municipal Court and it was so gorgeous. It had been a gloomy day that lovely Monday afternoon, but the Mountain was out and there wasn’t any rain across the Seattle skyline as they exchanged their vows on the rooftop. They wanted to elope just the two of them, but laws (am I right?!), so they each invited their brother to the ceremony to be their witnesses. It was so lovely!
I love courthouse weddings! While we wait for the judge to be ready for the couple, it’s so fun to wander around the hallways and the staircase to get some portraits in before the couple is called to go back to the judges offices to go over what they are going to be saying during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we started wandering over to the Volunteer Park Conservatory, when we accidentally ran into Octavio’s mom out front of the building! There was this woman just laughing so hard, and then gave the couple a hug, and then ran away! Octavio then said “that’s my mom!” and it was such a silly moment!
We then headed to the park for some more bridal portraits and it was so stunning! They brought a cake with them to cut together and overall, their day was simple, uniquely their own day, and filled with plenty of kisses and smiles. Yoandra looked stunning in her white dress, and Octavio just looked at her with hearts in his eyes. Too cute!
Congrats to Yoandra + Octavio- you two were made for each other!
