This Smith Rock engagement session was one of my favorites with Ali and Bryan! Once we chatted about me shooting their wedding in 2025, Ali was like “I saw on your website your bucket list of going to Smith Rock, and we’re SO DOWN!” haha So of course, I was like HELL YES! We took a few days off to drive the 4 hours to Smith Rock State Park, shot their adorable engagement session, had a beer at Deschutes Brewery, and spent the night in Bend, OR before heading home the next day. I love Bend and think it’s the cutest and gorgeous little town in the middle of eastern Oregon. I can’t wait to go back someday!

Ali and Bryan are so cute together! They snuggled and strolled all over Smith Rock and Ali brought some white sheets to wear for a little silly part of their session- being ghosts! I’m sure you all have seen those ghost sheet videos on TikTok, (I made one here to check out), so Ali wanted to do the same! They played in the sheets, Ali crying laughing the whole time, and Bryan, who normally is on the reserved side, completely went all in on this and wiggled around like a ghost with his lady. It was adorable and we all could not stop laughing! It was also so fun seeing all the rock climbers around them scaling the rocks!

We then chased the sunset up until the very end and even waited till it passed under a cloud for it to come out and shine all up on them! These two are so cute and I loved hanging out with them along the state park and at the brewery afterwards chatting all about Taylor Swift and wedding planning haha I can’t wait for their wedding next year! YAY!
