I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Alex and Micalea had a stunning wedding day at The Lodge at Fall City Farms and it was seriously incredible! These two had everything looking stunning with the tents, the colors, their smiles, and more! This Lodge at Fall City Farms Wedding was one of my favorites and I’m so excited to share it with you all!
We started the day off with a few little getting ready photos, and a cheers from the wedding party to Alex and Micalea, and then we had a cute and private first look. I love the staircase at this venue with the view of Alex waiting for his bride outside, it was so cool and I just loved the anticipation there! After some portraits with their puppy, we moved on to wedding party and family photos like we do. Then the ceremony! It was such a hot day, so everyone was made sure to hydrate and also have some sort of shade throughout the day. Hydration is mega important here! I probably had my neck fans on the whole time! After getting married, they had an awesome cocktail hour with some amazing crab cakes, and then they entered their reception with their first dance. Everything was set up so stunning under the tents with a warm yellow glow from the tent and all the incredible florals everywhere! Then came dinner, more dancing, the most incredible golden hour photos, and literally 3 hours of hard core dancing. I’m not kidding! These cool cats danced ALL NIGHT until it was time for the sparkler send off. Literally- I’ve never seen a large crowd move so much for so long. There were barely any breaks and they brought the house (tent) down!
Alex and Micalea wanted a party with all their friends and oh boy, they got it! They are so sweet to each other and every time I looked over at them for a photo, they just had the biggest heart-eyes for each other and it still makes my heart so happy looking back at their photos!
Okay, so here is how the proposal went down: “We were on a trip to Maui. Micaela had a feeling the proposal was going to happen on this trip but Alex still managed to surprise her. Alex let her know that he booked a nice dinner (and a photographer for the next day!) so Micaela assumed that dinner was when he would propose. Alex surprised her by doing it before then, while at the top of a gorgeous hike on the Waihee Ridge Trail. They celebrated with spicy margaritas after the hike, and enjoyed the rest of the week in Maui celebrating their engagement.”
Their favorite part about being together: “We both make each other feel absolutely free to be ourselves in every way, and laugh together all the time.”. Truly, that’s all we want in life!
A huge congrats to these ridiculously gorgeous couple! You two bring so much light to the world and I hope you keep your light shining! Cheers!
