I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Star and Brenden had a super stunning Farm 12 Wedding over the weekend with all the boho-inspired vibes. They had gorgeous dried florals all around with pampas grass and such, tan and mint wedding party colors, and all the warm vibes of the Farm 12 wedding venue. Their day was absolutely perfect with all their friends, family, the weather even held up for us with some moody cozy clouds, and seeing these two gorgeous people finally married is the best thing ever.
Star and Brenden are way too adorable together and I love how tall Brenden is and Star is so short! They make it work and it’s so adorable to see how these two love each other so much. We adventured all around the venue with a first look down their gorgeous staircase in the reception hall, and there was this awesome pampas grass field with flowers in it over back by the parking lot that I knew I had to get them in it, and it turns out it was the perfect place for their portraits. It fit perfectly with their overall boho theme.
This was my first time shooting a wedding at Farm 12 and I’m absolutely in love with it. All their decorations, the chairs alone are perfect, the greenhouse ceremony area, the reception hall staircase, and even the getting ready suites were perfectly lit and had plenty of room. I’m so in love with this venue and the staff is so amazing as well. Everyone was so helpful and took care of anything we needed or had questions about. I can’t wait to shoot more gorgeous weddings here!!
Overall, their wedding day was seriously one of my favorites of the season and these two are just the best. I loved being their photographer for their engagement photos and their wedding and I couldn’t have been more honored to capture it all for them!
Okay, so this is how Star and Brenden met: “Star and I met in our first year at PLU while both of us were pursuing careers in education. We met in our elementary math education class. Star came up to me asking for help on a math question. I missed one day of class where we were assigned groups and without me knowing, Star decided to have me in her group. When I got back to class, we exchanged numbers and from there I asked her on a date.”
This is how their proposal went down: “Star doesn’t like grand gestures and hates when all eyes are on her. On March 23, 2020, I decided to propose to Star in the hallway of my parents home. She said yes and now we’re getting married!”
Too cute!! A huge congratulations to Star and Brenden for tying the knot!! The world is a much better place with you two together 🙂 Cheers!
