I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Sarah + Aldo had a stunning North Fork Farm wedding out in North Bend, WA. It was so much fun and such a party with all their closest friends and family that they haven’t seen in over 10 years! It was the best reunion and everyone seriously knew how to dance at their wedding. Sarah and Aldo are so adorable together and it was so much fun capturing all their wedding day moments. They love the show Brooklyn 99, so they each had this little pin on them that said “toit numps” lol! They also had a cute bumble bee pin as well to show that they met on Bumble lol These two are too cute!
It was a super hot summer day with plenty of sunshine but even more smiles. Cheesy, I know! They had a gorgeous sunny ceremony out on the lawn overlooking Mt. Si, a fun reception, and an even cooler send off with ribbons shuffling above them. Grandpa also was able to bring an old vintage car for them to take off in so of course we had to take some photos of them in front and all around the car. It was also adorable seeing the groomsmen pushing the car off with Sarah and Aldo inside at the end. Too cute!
So this is how Sarah and Aldo met: “We met on bumble! We matched but I didn’t message Aldo right away, so he “renewed” the connection for an extra 24 hours which luckily caught my attention, then we texted for a couple of weeks before meeting for our first date which was so fun, we instantly clicked. We went to iPic in Redmond, had dinner, then saw a movie which was so bad, then afterwards we still wanted to hangout more so we walked around Redmond Town Center and went and got a couple more drinks.”
And this is how the proposal went down: “It was Aldo’s birthday, so I took him out for a birthday dinner that ended up taking 3 hours so he was pretty antsy. Afterwards, he suggested we cut through this park that was in the middle of the city to get to a bar we had wanted to try out. I didn’t think anything of it because again, it was his birthday and we had talked about going to this bar before. While we were walking in the park he put his arm around me and said “There was one more thing I wanted for my birthday…” and got down on one knee and asked if would marry him! I was so shocked and there were a few strangers around cheering for us and one girl got some pictures that she sent to me afterwards.”
Too adorable! It was such an honor and a blast being their wedding photographer and I can’t wait to see where life takes these two! A huge congrats to Sarah and Aldo! Cheers!!
