Lindsay + Patrick had a stormy and total PNW Artist Point engagement photos the day after their wedding at the Lairmont Manor (check that awesomeness out right here) and it was super amazing. The previous day was sunny and gorgeous and the next day, we adventured up to Artist Point for some mountain adventure shots, only to be met with thick fog, stormy conditions, and all the PNW vibes. It was truly a perfect combo of all the weathers in the span of 2 days (aka Classic Washington).

Anyway! We still had an amazing time up there as we adventured all over Heather Meadows and a trailhead just before the main Artist Point area. We drove up to the top, but the fog was so thick that we literally couldn’t see anything, so we went back down to a nearby trailhead for some gloomy trees, and back to Heather Meadows. It was stunning there as always but now with tons of fall color and fog creeping in. It was gorgeous and I wish we could have stuck around all day. Lindsay and Patrick came to Washington for this amazing getaway and to get married in Bellingham along with hiking around the mountains (in the storm) and whale watching the next day with their immediate family. It was so fun capturing them getting married along with hiking the next day as husband and wife! Too cool! They wanted originally to have some wedding attire portraits up there the next day, but it was waaaaay too cold and rainy so they decided to stick to their cozy fall outfits and I don’t blame them!

Artist Point is now closed for the season as it’s already getting snow, but I’m counting down the days when I can adventure back up there and capture all the magic.
