Kaitlyn + Brad | Carkeek Park Engagement

Kaitlyn and Brad had a magical and moody Carkeek Park Engagement session out in Seattle, WA last weekend and it was amazing. We adventured all around the crazy busy park and snagged some beautiful moments between these two rockstars. We met over by this bridge area and there were tons, literally tons, of people walking around on the beach and within the park. Granted, we went on a sunny Saturday in Seattle, but we still managed to get some shots of them without photobombers. Kaitlyn and Brad are so beautiful together and the way they hold one another, the way they look at each other, is just flat out gorgeous. They are so in love and they both literally looked like rockstars throughout this whole session.

Being winter, most of the foliage and bushes were quite dead, but that just added to the overall theme and moodiness of the park. We wondered through the trails, got some sun glares on the beach, and ended up among the trees towards the bottom of the park. I’ve never adventured to Carkeek Park before in Seattle, but it was really beautiful and I can’t wait to go back and see what it looks like in the summer. I’d also probably recommend visiting this park during the week when there are less people and more parking spots available! Also as an FYI, you’re not allowed to bring puppies to this park. 🙁

Anyway! These two are so adorable and I loved adventuring with them. Their black army boots were super legit and their dark clothing was just added moodiness to this rockstar of a session. They have been together for 4 years now and got engaged on Vashon Island. These two are planning to have an intimate elopement style wedding filled with casual fun vibes, food trucks, and lawn games. I’m seriously so excited and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
