KatzenVäter at Darrells Tavern

KatzenVäter had an amazing show out at Darrells Tavern in downtown Seattle, WA. This was my first time seeing this heavy rock band perform and it was absolutely incredible. From the chemistry and silliness before the show for some band photos along the streets, to the incredible electric guitar solos from their lead guitarist,  everything was so solid and so much fun to see these guys perform live! Also how adorable is their name, KatzenVater– means cat dad in german! hehe And yes, they are all cat dads, except the new drummer, but apparently he has a time limit for when he needs to get a cat haha

While Darrell’s Tavern was sticky everywhere, it was still fun to see these guys play their hearts out and smile as they performed. They also have this cool pool table where every artist that has performed at this venue has placed a sticker of thier band’s logo on there, and as you can imagine- it was covered! Logan, the bass player, asked me to capture his band performing (thank you!) and after shooting his wedding day a few years ago, it was so cool to see him in action and have the best time! Can’t wait to capture these guys again in Seattle soon!

KatzenVäter is what they like to call heavy rock music, and they also refuse to be considered “heavy metal” although sometimes they can go quite heavy with the guitar riffs, but overall- a great band to see live!
