Ladies and Gents, I present to you, this Unexpected, Modern, and Vintage Lairmont Manor Styled Shoot. I was planning this for months and really wanted to have a fun shoot that was inspired by my love for the 1920’s, a wild color pallet that was fun and unexpected, but still modern and obtainable for todays brides. This shoot had everything: With a Rosé All Day Tower, a custom floral veil, a wedding coffee cart, and a vespa to drive off into the sunset with, this Lairmont Manor Styled Shoot had it all. We wanted to have a ton of unexpected colors throughout like yellows and ombre pinks while incorporating modern yet vintage bridal looks. Brenda and Bryce exchanged vows in their classic getup but with a twist with a short wedding gown and a custom flower-pressed veil. The Rosé All Day Tower was so much fun with LED lights and Rosé instead of champagne to add more color and style. Finishing off the evening with snuggles on a vintage silver vespa- yes please! And why not add some bedazzling sunglasses for a little edge. This styled shoot is so trendy, was so fun, and I’m so excited to share with you all!

I’m now in need of my own personal Vespa!! haha I really loved the idea of having a Rosé All Day Tower instead of Champagne because it just really brought all the colors of the day together and it was different. It was more personable and fun. I also will take full credit with putting water-proof LED lights in the glasses to add a dynamic effect! These are so cool and you can change them to any color you want! Highly recommend!

I just want to give all these amazing vendors a huge shoutout with working with me and being apart of this fun project! I wanted this shoot to focus on the vendors since most styled shoots are mainly about the photographer and ‘getting the shot’ but really, I wanted the vendors I work with to shine through it all and do what they wanted. We had general guidelines with the style and overall vision for the day, but everyone really made it come to life with their own style. Jessica from JCV Flowers, she had the idea of bringing yellow and fun pink/ red ombré in the florals which looked so unexpectedly perfect. I had Camile at New Leaf Floral create this stunning dried floral – pressed custom veil and it was absolutely incredible!! Super trendy and she did an absolute amazing job! Wild Hare Films are long time friends of mine and we’ve worked together for years so it was only fitting that they joined the team to create amazing content from the day- they always make incredible films! A huge thanks to DJ, the venue manager at Lairmont Manor for helping us have our shoot there- it’s the perfect venue and I always have Lairmont in my dreams. Anne Timss is always my go-to for hair and makeup in any situation and of course she knocks it out of the park as always. She’s the absolute best and there’s no one else I recommend.  Celestial Coffee Cart- you have a brilliant business idea and I love coffee, so together make an adorable coffee catering service and I want to see these guys at every wedding- great coffee and they are just adorable! Also a huge thank you to PNW Motorcycles in Ferndale for helping out the Bellingham community with letting us photograph your vintage silver vespa- I’m coming back with an offer on that thing! Way too cool! And finally, a mega thank you to AW Bridal for letting us borrow this adorable short wedding gown. It’s perfect for classic high heels, and a long veil- I love this trend and this look and this dress was perfect.
