I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Lindsey + Kaleb had a stormy PNW AirBnB Elopement out in the stunning Easton, WA with their closest friends and all the cinnamon rolls. The weather went through all sorts of rain, snow, wind, sunshine, and back to rain all day, but that didn’t slow these two cuties down. Lindsey and Kaleb wanted a super intimate and simple elopement in the woods with two witnesses and their friend as their officiant before their big wedding reception party in Oklahoma with their families. I loved after they tied the knot on this secluded gorgeous little beach they found the day prior, they both said in the car, “that was so us”.
We started their PNW AirBnB Elopement with getting ready at this fun cabin out in the middle of Easton, WA. It was super cozy and surrounded by forest so we could really go out and explore everything there. They got ready, had their adorable first look, and then we adventured to this spot along the backroads of Kachess Lake where they exchanged private vows before their short and sweet ceremony. It was freezing, but it was so magical and these two looked incredible. We then all headed back to the cabin for a mini reception with snacks, champagne, and some really funky cinnamon rolls! I loved it when the rain was pouring down (see the GIF I made below) while they were talking about life and random stories. It was really cool and so fun to create with the lighting, location, and all the smiles.
So here is how these two met: “We met in middle school at a weekend camp and became friends. I had a huge crush on Kaleb and secretly hoped we would keep in contact. Once we were in high school we started talking all the time and hanging out every weekend! After a typical high schooler date at Qdoba and Target, Kaleb asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend, and we’ve been together ever since!”
This is how the proposal went down: “Kaleb had the idea to go on a sunrise hike to Fremont Lookout in Mt Rainier National Park. He had to drag me out of bed at 2am and hike in the dark to the lookout point. We found a secluded spot to sit down and watch the sunrise. I was so confused why he didn’t just want to sit at one of the several spots we passed by and wanted to find a place we were alone. Kaleb set up his phone to do a video on our tripod. After suggesting we take a picture together, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together!”
A huge congrats to Lindsey and Kaleb!! Woohoo!!
