Seattle Waterfront + Palisade Restaurant

Jen and Ted had a stunning and intimate Seattle Waterfront Elopement on Jen’s family’s boat and an cozy ceremony with reception at the Palisade Restaurant along the Seattle waterfront at sunset. It was perfectly their own day and they did everything they wanted to do 🙂 I just love how personalized their wedding day was from the entire wedding party wearing converse shoes, to their favorite cookies for dessert, Jen and Ted just wanted to get married and have fun doing it!

We started the day getting ready of course at the little Yacht club next to the restaurant and then jumping onto Jen’s family boat for wedding party photos, a first look on the dock, and couple photos on the boat. It was a gorgeous bright sunny day for Seattle in October, but we ran with it and it was so much fun to cruise along the Seattle waterfront together and capture all the classic Seattle sights. Once we docked, we had some family photos and then got right into their little ceremony at the Palisade Restaurant in their cozy private room. Jen and Ted had the perfect vows written for each other and together they make the perfect pair. They are so goofy, don’t care what other people think, and dance to their own drum beat, AKA really cool people 😉 They had a plated dinner with their favorite cookies for dessert, toasts to them, and smiles all around. It was such a unique and perfect day! Jen and Ted were so cozy together and it was such a joy to capture all the magic that sparked between them.

Fun fact! I knew Jen and Ted before their day when I used to work at the Costco Corporation! I actually trained Ted in the department I was in for my job when I decided to leave Costco and pursue my own business. Jen worked on the same team as my husband does back in the day and it was just so fun to hang out with them together for their engagement session and then for their wedding day. Such a treat and an honor being their photographer 😉
