I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Here’s a little Thank You card secret on how to get them done early. Get your Thank You image done the day of your wedding.
We bought a wooden Thank You sign with some blue sparkles on it (to match our wedding colors) and right after the first look, we got a few great shots of us holding the sign! I asked our amazing wedding photographer before our big day that we really wanted this image of us holding the sign to be included in our ‘sneak peek’ images she would soon send us. So, while on honeymoon, we got our sneak peek and got our Thank You sign image.
When there was some down time from exploring the sandy shores of Oregon, I hopped on over to my favorite print shop, Artifact Uprising, and ordered some postcards with our Thank You picture on it. Perfect! They then arrived on our doorstep a few days later. We whipped out our personalized thank you’s right after going through all our gifts of course, and we sent them off within 2 weeks of getting married. BAM! (and yes, I had a huge hand cramp!)
Another option might be creating a collage of some images you receive from your photographer and have a classic Thank You to send to everyone. Still a wonderful option!
We even ended up with a TON of leftover thank you postcards (just the way ordering worked out) so I wanted to get some santa hat stickers and put them on top of our heads in the photo. Then we could use them as Christmas cards! Lol! Naturally, Matt vetoed that idea quickly haha
So, I hope our story gets you thinking of ways to make the daunting task of writing thank you notes more bearable and easy! It’s not hard and can be easily completed like a boss.
Thanks for reading along with this week’s Sarah Jane’s Bridal Banter and tune in next week for another installment of wedding bantering!
Have a great Wednesday, friends!
