Artist Point Engagement Session

An Artist Point engagement session is always beautiful, but Hanna and Stuart’s evening in the North Cascades was one I’ll be thinking about for a long time. Between the incredible mountain views, nonstop laughter, and one very photogenic pup, this gallery came together in the best way.
We spent the evening adventuring around Artist Point with Kiwi leading the way for much of it. The mountains were on point, the bugs absolutely ate us alive, and somehow neither of those things stopped us from having the best time. Hanna and Stuart laughed through it all, making every part of the evening feel relaxed and effortless.
One of my favorite parts of their session was the little tea party they planned. They brought tea and cookies up the mountain and took a break to enjoy the view together before we continued exploring. It was such a simple idea, but it made their engagement session feel even more personal and it was just so adorable. Those are the kinds of details that make every gallery unique.
I also think getting Kiwi her own little lantern so she could be included in Hanna and Stuart’s lantern photos at sunset was the best idea I ever had. I am so in love with how that turned out. Seeing the three of them together with their lanterns as the sun disappeared behind the mountains created some of my favorite images from the entire session.
The whole evening was full of laughs, gorgeous scenery, and plenty of adventures around Artist Point. Even with the bugs trying their hardest to join us, it was one of those sessions where everything just felt fun from beginning to end. And yes, the cookies were just as good as they looked, so thank you again!
Hanna and Stuart are getting married next summer, and after spending the evening with them, I seriously can’t wait for their wedding day. If their engagement session is any indication, it’s going to be filled with laughter, thoughtful details, and so much joy. I already know it’s going to be an incredible day.
