Monteen + Eric’s wedding was the perfect blend of heartfelt and high-energy fun. It all took place aboard The MV Skansonia, a truly unique Seattle wedding venue. This historic 1920s ferry is permanently docked on Lake Union. With vintage charm, waterfront views, and a little haunted history, it set the perfect mood.

Their Seattle wedding day began at the Edgewater Hotel. It’s a gorgeous spot with natural light and waterfront views. We captured getting-ready moments full of laughter and calm energy. Even the seagulls showed up to add a little personality to their first look. Their sweet pup Cooper was by their side, making everything even more special.

Next, we headed to The MV Skansonia for the ceremony and celebration. This Seattle wedding had it all. Bubbles floated through the air during their vows. The city skyline made a stunning backdrop. After the ceremony, it was time to dance and party!

Guests filled the dance floor in hilarious shirts with Eric’s face printed on them. We played with disco balls on the ferry’s bow and lounged on the golden couch. Monteen changed into a sparkly after-party dress just in time for golden hour. The light was dreamy, and their portraits turned out magical.

And the food? Truly the best Seattle wedding dinner I’ve ever had. I sang to my plate and danced while eating. No shame.
