Seattle Engagement Session

Ballard, WA/ Downtown Seattle

Addie and Jon had an awesome Seattle engagement session all around Downtown Ballard and Discovery Park in Seattle, WA. These two are so freaken’ cute that it was so hard to not photograph them literally at every turn. They are so goofy together and their smiles literally lit up all of Ballard. No joke. Addie and Jon live in downtown Ballard and they love it, so naturally, we had to adventure all around the main downtown area looking at all the adorable shops, catching people walking by, and head down to the beach. Of course, on a sunny Saturday, everyone and their mother was out so it was tricky not getting people in their photos- but at one point I just encouraged people to walk by and get a fun blur motion. Fun!

After adventuring around Ballard, we made a pit stop at their adorable apartment to pick up their pup, Stevie. We then adventured to Discovery Park where the golden light was all over their cuteness! Cheesy, I know. These two met while going to college at UW and have been together ever since their second year of school. They are finally getting married this summer in downtown Seattle and I’m SO beyond stoked. I mean, can you just picture Addie in her gown- STUNNING! I can’t wait!

A little note about heading down to Discovery Park- you’re not allowed to park right by the lighthouses, but on weekends literally everyone was doing it anyway. So we diiiiid illegally park, but so did everyone else and it wasn’t for very long! For anyone wanting to shoot down there, my advice is to have a third party drive you down, drop you off and pick you up to avoid traffic jams and any possible ticketing.

Anyway!! We made it all work out for our session and I’m just so in love with their smiles. Cheers to Addie and Jon and can it be August already?!
