Where to even begin with this unforgettable Lake Crescent wedding? Sarah and Ian tied the knot in one of the most magical places in the Pacific Northwest—Olympic National Park’s NatureBridge location at Lake Crescent. With sunshine all day, the most breathtaking golden hour, and a sunset that lit up the lake like something out of a fairytale, this day was beyond beautiful.
From the very start, Sarah and Ian wanted a celebration that felt fun, relaxed, and filled with personal touches. Think summer camp vibes, but all grown up—and with way more love. Guests stayed overnight by the lake, shared cabins, and soaked up a weekend full of laughter, adventure, and pure joy. The flashlights they handed out said “Camp Schwaker” (their new last name!), and it couldn’t have been more adorable.
Their first look took place in the quiet woods, just the two of them wrapped in forest light and emotion. Portraits followed all around Lake Crescent’s scenic corners, and their ceremony took place under a big tree with all their favorite people watching on.
Golden hour arrived and wow—these two completely rocked it! The soft sunset behind the mountains and lake created the kind of dreamy light every photographer dreams of. Some of my favorite images ever came from this moment. You could just feel their connection shining through every shot.
The celebration continued with a choreographed first dance that was straight-up perfection, heartfelt toasts (especially from Ian’s three sisters who were the honorary groom squad), and a whole lot of dancing under the stars. Their speech had everyone laughing and tearing up—especially the hilarious mention of “Naked Baby Time,” a memory only siblings could get away with sharing!
Sarah and Ian’s Lake Crescent wedding was the perfect blend of fun, love, and laid-back charm. They didn’t want stress, they wanted a beautiful weekend with the people they love—and that’s exactly what they got.
Truly, this Lake Crescent wedding was something special. A day full of heart, light, and love I’ll never forget. Want to see more from this stunning celebration? Check out all the dreamy moments below!
