Amanda + Austin | A-Frame and Forest Anniversary Session | Skykomish, WA

Amanda & Austin have been married for 5 years now, since May 10th, and they currently live in Alabama! These two cuties adventure to a new state every year for their wedding anniversary, so this year, they chose the amazing Washington state and stayed in the cutest little A-Frame cabins in Skykomish, WA.

So naturally, we adventured all around the Tye-Haus cabin, the Skykomish river, and into the magical and fairytale-like forest in Deception Falls. The hike trailhead was technically closed, but we just parked on the side of the road and went anyway because.. rebels!

Amanda and Austin are so amazing and their love for life and adventure is infectious! They are so cute and I can’t wait for them to be parents someday. Their hearts are so full of love and their lives are filled with sentimental treasures like Amanda’s mega heirloom wedding ring, and even Austin’s grandpa’s tweed suspenders he wore around Deception Falls. It was such a blast spending time with these two absolutely wonderful people and I wish we didn’t live so far away from each other. These two are super adorable and kind, they even brought all the way from Alabama this adorable mug as a gift for me that had a cute shape of the Alabama state on it. I love it so much!!

The last time I was in Skykomish, there was tons of snow everywhere so it was super awesome to get to see this gorgeous area and forest with full on green trees and moss on the side of the trees. At one point, it honestly looked like the Olympic National Forest over on the west coast because of all the moss and greenery in the forest.
