A Year in Review: 2022

Looking back at 2022 in my 8th year of being a Seattle Wedding Photographer

You guys, this past year has been an absolute crazy ride but not without it’s amazing moments and special memories. Every wedding, elopement, and session once again was incredible and I’m not sure if you guys know this, but I remember every single one.  Every day was amazing and ‘one for the books’ as they say. I’ve learned so much more this year with adding more human elements into each photo, more context, and taking more time with getting in the environment before the camera gets in my hand. I take more time before starting at weddings to scope out the area, get a vibe for the place, be more present, and I can already see a difference in my work. Each wedding day has a deeper story and adding more of the venue, the feeling of the day through sound (yes in photographs), and the time of year with showing the flowers or the rain falling on leaves, all that plays apart in a wedding day and adding more to that story makes my couple’s galleries that more vibrant with feelings and memories.

Anyway! The 2022 wedding season was a banger year and I’m so excited for this coming year that’s also fully booked! YAY! This coming year, I’ll also have a place over in Bellingham, WA and making that move to the west side so I can always be available at any time of the year. Snow be damned! haha And I can finally come home at a reasonable hour and now 2am any more! haha So big changes are happening for 2023 and it’s going to be another incredible year.

Below are all my sessions and weddings throughout the year of 2022 to have a sort of flash back and take a look at the year we had together. Thanks to everyone who followed along on Instagram and social media, it’s been such a fun year and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store! These are in order of the year from start to finish!!
