Austin and Jamie had a magical Rattlesnake Lake Spring engagement session out in North Bend, WA filled with all the forest and lakeside vibes. It was quite the busy weekend with the sun out and everyone was in the water. There were even tents all set up for some BBQ parties and plenty of kayaks out on the lake. Jamie and Austin are mega adorable and were all smiles their entire session. We adventured to the trailhead of the Rattlesnake Ledge, it’s one of my favorite spots at the park that gives us a great forest vibe without having to dive super deep into the forest. Yes, it does get a little busy right at the trailhead but we just took our time 🙂 We then adventured down to the Lake and it woudn’t be a Rattlesnake Lake engagement session without getting my couple on a stump haha It’s sort of a staple in the PNW. There were tons of people around, and I mean TONS, so that’s why god invented photoshop haha Am I right, Photographers?

Jamie and Austin are so cute, they even ran into the lake together and started splashing each other and being all adorable. It was absolutely perfect and it was the first time in my photography career that I actually went into the water, too! I totally now will always also get in the water with my couple! We popped Champagne, cheers at the end of our session, and it was all so so so fun with these two.

I’ve actually been photographing Jamie’s sister, Katie throughout her entire big life moments so it was really fun to be able to capture Jamie and Austin’s engagement photos- another big life moment in this gorgeous family 🙂 They plan to get married out in Maui this year and a big fun reception back in Washington later this year 🙂 YAY! I can’t wait to party with these two again!
