Bellingham Ferry Terminal Wedding
Sil and Sean had a cinematic
Bellingham Ferry Terminal Wedding to kick off their new life together! What made this day even more special started with their ceremony hosted at their newly built home in Bellingham, WA. Next to Whatcom falls, these two tied the knot in their very own back yard, and then wandered into the woods for portraits with their loved ones. The most precious feature in their ceremony was their ‘North Star’ code. The piece was framed and placed aside the rustic “A-frame” alter topped with a stunning pastel arrangement from
Belle Flora. This North Star code read off their nonnegotiables as a couple. Additionally, these words were incorporated into their vows as a constant reminder of their “home base” for each other.
Following, Sil and Sean rang in their new lives together during their Bellingham Ferry Terminal Wedding with an epic reception! This was my first time shooting in this venue, and I was in awe of the gigantic bay window that overlooked the harbor! The feature allowed for so much play in natural light and golden hour photos! Furthermore, the sweetheart table was directly under the semi-dome bay window! I cannot begin to explain how breathtaking it was to shoot the sun dancing across the newlyweds during speeches! Meanwhile, during their first dance, they turned into cinematic silhouettes!
During their Bellingham Ferry Terminal Wedding portraits, we captured some incredible sunset photos along Little Squalicum Beach. These stunning images complimented the bridal portraits we took a few days prior at
Artist Point at Mount Baker in Snoqualmie National Forest. Comparatively to incorporating everything into their “one day,” Sil and Sean took an intimate approach to sharing private vows and a “first look” between just the two of them. These two are so fun and so full of life! They truly take care of each other like soulmates do. Finally, at the end of the wedding night, Sil said that all her dreams came true for her wedding day and she was just the happiest she has ever been!
