I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Erin and Zach are married and they had a stunning Black Diamond Gardens wedding out in the gorgeous Black Diamond, WA area. I love this venue and it was so much fun photographing these cuties all around the grounds. It was a super warm day, like even the cake was melting for a bit, but it was overall stunning and all their own. Erin and Zach are adorable together and Erin even faced her fears of water and got into the boat at sunset! Their colors with deep purples, blues, moody spring colors was a perfect combination to all the greenery and garden feel of their day.
Their whole group that came to celebrate them were so awesome and chill, and amazing dancers haha These guests had all the energy and they danced the night away!
Okay, this is how they met: “We connected on Match.com in July 2021. We met in person August 2021. Zach reached out to me first and asked if I was excited about the Wheel of Time TV series coming out. We quickly discovered both of us were fans of the Wheel of Time book series.”
This is how the proposal went down: “On June 25, 2022, we had made a picnic to go up to Lake Tipsoo at Mt. Rainer. I had my suspicions that this might be “the day”, but didn’t think too much about it since I didn’t think he had enough time to get a ring. The lake ended up having 3 feet of snow, so we ate our lunch next to our car while enjoying the view. Zach had gotten a new camera so was testing it out. We decided to try to find other places where we could have some good views. We started driving to Paradise, and I missed the turn off. We ended up stopping and figuring out that we were at least ½ way around the mountain so just decided to continue around the mountain looking for viewpoints instead of turning around. Zach had remembered a stop he had gone with a good view. After a gravel road and a short hike, we were at a lovely spot that would have had a great view of Mt. Rainer 20 years ago without all the tree growth. Zach still wanted to test out some camera settings. He ended up setting up something where he had the camera snapping pictures of us… and then of him getting down on one knee.”
Too cute!! Overall, their summer wedding day was so gorgeous, these two looked perfect together, just the way they look at each other is something Taylor Swift writes about in love songs, and it was all such a lovley day! Cheers to Erin and Zach!!
