I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Camille and Sam had a magical Anderson Lodge Wedding out in the beautiful Mt. St. Helens area and it was a perfect intimate wedding day. This is my second weekend in a row at this gorgeous location and it was again amazing. The weather was a lot more moodier so we got some more moody lantern shots later in the evening, but it was all the way magical! Camille and Sam are from Chicago and they made the adventure out to Mt. St. Helens for their love of the forest and Camille’s happy place in the ferns. These two are so gorgeous together and Sam had the cutest face when he saw his bride for the first time.
These two lovebirds had their closest friends and family attend their weekend in the forest and most of their guests were already staying at the lodge so it was one big slumber party! Ahh their day was just so awesome. Everyone there were so nice and funny, and getting to further explore this amazing venue was beyond awesome. Camille and Sam even got me doughnuts just because we chatted about how that’s one of my favorite desserts and they are the kindest souls.
One thing I really loved seeing at this wedding was how Camille and Sam decided to write each other letters to each other that they plan on opening on their 1 year wedding anniversary. They also had their guests also write a letter to them to open on their wedding anniversary so they have all the fun letters from their friends and family. How cool is that! We also got to hang out in the ferns, Camille’s favorite, and just hang out all over the forest. It was magical and I’m so in love with their wedding photos! It was such an honor and such a fun day to photograph all around!
Alright, since you all are dying to know more about these two cuties, here is how they met: “Early in 2018, Camille was conducting an investigation to see how men on dating websites presented themselves. Amongst the throng of men on OKCupid, she found Sam, then a law student with a passion for criminal justice. She reached out about his time with the ACLU, and they started chatting. It wasn’t long until Sam invited Camille to a night at the Hammer Museum, where they played “Modern Art Improv.””
This is their favorite part about being together: “The perpetual silliness that has been part of our lives since we got together. We both lead stressful lives, and the fact that we’re always able to make each other laugh has been a big part of helping us deal with it.”
How cute are they?! Congrats to Camille + Sam and the world is so much better and brighter with you two married!! Cheers!
