Maia and Matt has a gorgeous Deception Pass State Park Elopement last weekend! What a truly stunning day for a breathtaking elopement at Rosario Beach in Deception Pass State Park! The sun was shining perfectly off the water, casting a soft, golden glow over the gorgeous couple—Maia + Matt. With only a few close friends in attendance, the ceremony was pure magic, radiating love and joy at every turn.
From the moment we arrived, the energy was so intimate—you could literally feel the love between Maia and Matt in the air. Their connection was undeniable. And while their ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, it was far from your typical one-stop elopement. This couple knows how to make an adventure out of everything!
We explored every inch of Rosario Beach—starting with the serene shores, then hiking up to the breathtaking views from Rosario Head Lookout. But we didn’t stop there. We added a little moody magic to the mix with some playful smoke vibes at a picnic area, making for some seriously cool photos (and a lot of laughs!).
As goofy, fun, and free-spirited as they are, Maia and Matt made sure their day was as unique as their love story. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to capture such a beautiful couple and their unforgettable adventure.
Before the big day, I asked Maia and Matt what their favorite things about each other were, and what they had shared really shone throughout their elopement. Matt said “I love her sense of humor, her laugh, and the way she smiles when she is laughing hard. I love doing quiet things together, as well as enjoying playing D&D together (we each lead separate campaigns for each other).” Maia followed up with “I love his kind heart and his empathy. I love the way that I feel safe to be my authentic self when I’m with him. I think we both have a lot to learn from each other, and I love watching how we’ve grown together through our relationship. Matt is generally quiet but, every once in a while, he says something so unintentionally funny that I laugh every time I remember. These are some of my favorite moments.”
