I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Kristen and Taylor had a summer Mt. Rainier National Park Elopement laced in the moody forest greens and a crisp golden hour! When we talk about “dreamy elopements,” Mount Rainier National Park is one of the most top tier locations. However, when you mix in two hiking and national park enthusiast, it just gets dreamier! Kristen and Taylor are simply the sweetest duo! Their love for one another just poured out of every single moment and detail of their wedding day! This adventurous bride and groom traveled all the way from Houston, Texas. Alongside their closest family members, Kristen and Taylor tied the knot in one of their favorite places. Meanwhile, prior to jumping in the car to head to their ceremony at Reflection Lake, they shared an intimate “first look” in an adorable mountain cabin in Ashford, Wa.
Furthermore, after their exchanging of vows during their summer Mt. Rainier National Park Elopement, we braved some higher ground. There we captured the perfect moments framed out by “The Queen of Washington” aka Mt. Rainier! Additionally, we witnessed stunning waterfalls, and ultimately made it to my secret spot in the meadows that did not disappoint! Amongst our trek, we stumbled upon a gentleman that had one more shots of his polaroid film left. He asked if we would like to have that as a keepsake, and of course there was not an ounce of hesitation! The gentle whipped out his Polaroid and snapped an epic image of Kristen and Taylor along the mountainside! During the entire day, Kristen and Taylor were just in awe of how close we were to the mountain. It was so amazing to see just how happy they were to not only be in sweet cool mountain air, but to be together doing what they love to do!
Likewise, when planning a Mt. Rainier National Park Elopement at Reflection Lakes, it is critical to consider that this location is only open during the summer months of June- September. Additionally, there are time frames for reservation when entering the Paradise Corridor by car. As this is an extremely popular area for hikers and onlookers, you must have a good plan going in!
The Proposal:
“We went on our first backpacking trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for Taylor’s 30th birthday. He proposed at the top of Charlie’s Bunion right before sunset when we were the only ones up there. Then we set up our camping chairs, made our dehydrated meals for dinner and watched the beautiful sunset together!”
