Tipsoo Lake | Mt. Rainier National Park

Sarah and Ian had a tender and romantic Tipsoo Lake Engagement Session in Mt. Rainier National Park. These two love birds will be sealing the deal in the summer of 2025. During their most recent visit to Washington from we were able to snag an epic engagement shoot. Sarah and Ian flew up from California to check out their venue with their family, and it truly was perfect timing! The weather was flawless. Additionally, they were the feature of both golden and blue hour photos! They brought along some wine and two little purple and green cups to give a cheers to their next steps together. This was a precious touch to foreshadow their wedding colors. Furthermore, they brought along some donuts to snack on as well!

Undeniably, Mt. Rainier National Park is one of the premier locations to capture the perfection Tipsoo Lake Engagement session. However, when planning this destination there are a few key factors to consider. Tipsoo Lake is only open to vehicles during the summer months of June- October. Additionally, due to the higher traffic of visitors, there is limited parking available. It is heavily suggested to plan these important events around the early morning, later evening and/or a weekday to avoid any holdups.

Lastly, and most important when choosing this spot for Tipsoo Lake Engagement Session is to keep in mind how dynamic the images will be! As this spot sees a heavy snowfall in the winter months, there will be a snow-capped dream in the backdrop, as well as a meadow of unbelievable wild flowers!  There are some minor limitations to couples that desire their furry friends to be apart of the experience, but not a complete “no.” This truly is one of the most electric locations to consider and high on my personal recommendation list!
