I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Erika and Josh had a boho-inspired American Homestead Wedding out in Naches, WA and it was truly beautiful. Even with getting literally every kind of weather imaginable (rain, snow, wind storm, blizzard, spring time sunshine, more hail, etc) their wedding day was still stunning and one for the books. I’ve known Erika for yeeeaaaars, since working together in corporate America, and we’ve kept in touch over the years. We both left that job for various reasons, but we both wanted to pursue what we ultimately wanted. I’m so beyond stoked for Erika to have found Josh and they are just way too adorable together. They constantly just wanted to make out and snuggle with their daughter, Romey.
Erika and Josh fell in love with American Homestead for their wedding day for so many reasons besides it being gorgeous and surround by snow-capped hillsides. But it’s really cool to be able to camp there all weekend and have a major slumber-party/ camping festival to celebrate your wedding day. Right before the ceremony time, there was a freak blizzard that hit Naches, WA and so we had to move the ceremony inside the barn. So as everyone was walking down the aisle, everyone cheered and clapped for every single group walking down. It really felt like their whole tribe was giving them their blessing and it was really cool 🙂
Overall their American Homestead wedding was filled with colorful florals with a boho-inspired theme, love, laughter, plenty to drink, and kisses. It was such a fun day and seeing an old friend of mine get married is super amazing and special.
Okay, so this is what they love to do together: “Josh works A LOT so I try to participate as much as possible in working on his trucks or going out of town with him when I can. We really like going wood cutting, hunting, watching movies at home, or going out to dinner on those rare occasions he gets a night off.”
This is what they are most excited for their future together: “More babies!! But really, it will be nice for us to have the same last name. Nothing else will really be changing.”
So a huge congratulations to Erika and Josh!! Cheers!!
