I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Mike and Paige had a lovely Fairytale Mt. Rainier Elopement over the summer surrounded by their closest friends and family. Paige was rocking some fairy wings throughout her elopement and everything about their day was so uniquely them. These two cuties got ready in Packwood, WA at some adorable cabins, and then we adventured up to the moody Paradise within the Mt. Rainier National Park for their Twilight-style ceremony with their bright moody colors in their wedding party. After their ceremony and portraits, we then adventured down to their parents cabin in Packwood for a reception with a Thai food food truck for dinner, and twinkle lights over their gorgeously-styled table settings. It was so lovely and well done! I love that Paige was handing out these little vintage postcards with Mt. Rainier on them to all their guests, and it looked like little thank you notes and it was just such a lovely evening!
So this is how these two adorable humans met: “We met the day the world was supposed to end 12/21/12 (mayan prediction) at an end of the world concert in Downtown Detroit, MI. We talked at set break and it turned out he also was going to Michigan for Civil Environmental Engineering. We had our first classes together so we sat next to each other everyday! Rest is history!” And this is how their proposal went down: “We were in the Michigans Upper Pennisula going ice climbing and exploring the ice caves. We were at Tacquamenam Falls and he popped the question! He was so nervous I was afraid he was going to drop the ring over the falls into the water LOL!!”
Mike and Paige are absolutely adorable together and I just love the way they hugged each other like it is the safest place in the world. So cute! Congrats to Mike and Paige! Your fairytale Mt. Rainier Elopement will always be one of my favorites 😉
