I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Laila and Chad had an amazing Fall Artist Point Elopement up in the mountains with their immediate family surrounding them with all their love. These two lovebirds rented a lovely cabin on a nearby lake for their elopement preparations, then we adventured to Picture Lake up at Artist Point which was overflowing with fall colors for their sweet ceremony, then we all headed back down the mountain to the Hotel Bellwether in downtown Bellingham, WA for a private dinner in their barrel room. We had a stunning champagne tower and a cake cutting before the two had an intimate meal with their family.
Having their Fall Artist Point elopement this time of year was perfect. At first, it was super clear and we could see all the fall colors, and then this giant cloud came in over the lake and made this moody fall effect after their ceremony. It was so cool and you can’t get more ‘fall’ than this!
Laila and Chad are just so cute together! The way Chad looks at Laila is just so romantic and their vows to each other each mentioned how they just feel like home together. I love it when that happens!
This is how these two met: “We meet through a mutual interest – Startups. After a few months of talking while being thousands of miles apart, we decided to meet in Turkey. But before meeting, we already knew how incredible our connection was, and taking the risk of traveling during a pandemic was worth it. We instantly fell in love with each other and have been inseparable since”
And this is how the proposal went down: “Chad proposed to me twice. The first proposal took place in Phuket, Thailand, during Valentine’s Day, in a romantic private beachfront dinner. This one was more like a promise proposal because we had already discussed marriage. Despite being continents apart, Chad gave me a promise ring, symbolizing our commitment to eventually get engaged once we figured out how to bridge the gap of our long-distance relationship. The formal engagement occurred when he visited me in Manila. He knelt down in a private courtyard adorned with flowers, and it was the easiest “yes” of my life.”
Too cute!! Congrats to Laila and Chad!! Cheers!
