Lauren and Clint got married at such a fun and gorgeous winery, Fontaine Estates, in Naches, WA yesterday was it was amazing! These two have such big hearts who love life and adventure together.. and skiing!
With a gorgeous ballgown, Lauren was absolutely glowing in her gown and Clint was so dashing in his gray suit. Rustic and blues and rusty pinks surrounded their rustic barn reception hall and it was so beautiful. Even though it was about 85 degrees, we got some amazing shots down in the orchards with the wedding party and then golden hour photos were incredible, too. The whole family on both sides were awesome to hang out with and we even busted some dance move together.
One of my favorite parts of the day is their first look. When Lauren walked up behind Clint next to the orchard, he saw how gorgeous she looked, kissed, and said “I missed you!” The two hadn’t seen each other since the previous night so it was such the sweetest moment!
Their wedding day was their own, beautiful custom details in every corner of the venue, and tons of smiles all around. Also, some of the best dance moves I’ve seen yet at a wedding! Everyone had so much energy and a good time was had by all!
Lauren and Clint shared a bit about how they met: “We had both graduated from college, Clint from Gonzaga in May, where he found an apartment with Tyler right away. Lauren graduated from EWU in June and spent July looking for an apartment with Satinder. Lauren found an apartment complex and sent Satinder to look at it. They decided it met the criteria and they moved in late July. In early August Lauren met Tyler by the mailbox who talked about his roommate Clint. Clint came down the stairs and met Lauren before going to work. Lauren started to hang out with the boys and Tyler invited Lauren to go on this cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene with his company. After the boat ride Lauren rode back with Clint and they talked the whole way back to Spokane. A couple weeks later Clint asked Lauren to go on a date at the flying goat.”
The Proposal Story: “Clint had been thinking about this for a long time! And knew he would propose a couple months into the relationship. The first year we dated Clint went on a family trip with Lauren’s family to Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast. He knew it was a special place for Lauren. In summer of 2018 Clint had made all the arrangements (talking to Lauren’s parents, had a ring) for the beach trip. Everyone else knew what was going to happen this trip except for Lauren. So she had kept giving Clint hints and having conversations about proposing on the drive down to Lincoln City from Spokane. On the last day Clint asked her to go on a hike after dinner. Lauren was skeptical about missing the family game time. But eventually her family convinced her it was okay to miss the game time. So Lauren and Clint went off on a hike a little ways from the house they were at. At the top of the hill Clint was setting up his camera to capture a picture of the “view” which is typical part of hiking with him. Lauren was unaware that he was getting ready to propose until he was kneeling down on one knee.”
