I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Madeline and Jack’s Fort Worden State Park wedding in Port Townsend, WA, was a true reflection of their love. The day was rainy and windy, but absolutely beautiful. Though the weather was far from ideal, their spirits were high, and the day was filled with warmth, joy, and unforgettable moments.
Many of their guests were visiting from out of state and were in awe of Washington’s stunning beauty. They couldn’t believe how unique this state is, with its rugged cliffs, ocean views, and the rich history of the Fort.
Madeline and Jack’s day began with a romantic first look along the dramatic cliffs, where the wind was blowing strong! From there, we braved the freezing cold to capture some stunning bridal portraits on the beach. They were total troopers, and the chill in the air couldn’t dampen their excitement or love!
Their ceremony took place in the most adorable little chapel, and it was as intimate as could be. Afterward, they celebrated with their closest friends and family at the nearby USO building, a cozy reception space filled with photos documenting their shared adventures. The night was filled with laughter, dancing, and BBQ (yum!).
What made the day even more special was the strong military connection between Madeline, Jack, and many of their family and friends. They married just before embarking on the next chapter of their journey in the military world. It was such an honor to capture their love story just before they set off on a new adventure together.
Madeline and Jack, thank you a million for allowing me to be a part of your special day! Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and many more beautiful adventures to come!
