Gabby + Eddie | Ruby Beach Engagement Session

Gabby + Eddie had such a magical engagement session at Ruby Beach on the Olympic Peninsula. It has always been a dream of mine to have an engagement session at Ruby Beach and these two were super troopers battling the chilliness, all the people, and getting a little wet. These two are super adorable and love to cuddle and whisper sweet nothings into each other’s ears. I’d constantly catch Eddie saying silly things into Gabby’s ear and she would just laugh so hard!

Ruby Beach was mega crowed the day we went, so if you’re considering having your engagement session at the beach, be sure to go during the week so you’ll miss the crowds! It was such a gorgeous day with clouds at the start, but they quickly moved away enough to get that golden light for Gabby and Eddie’s session. Driving about 5.5 hours to the beach, we had to take in all the beauty and the smell of the sea. Ellie came along, as well, but was a little overwhelmed with everyone there, so we had to have my wonderful husband hang out with her by the car instead of on the beach with us.

Gabby told me that the two of them are not super fans of getting their photo taken, but they could have fooled me! They were super models and really rocked their session, you guys! Gabby said, “We met working at the Y four years ago! Today we both work in education and with kids. We would love for our wedding photos to capture those intimate, candid moments of us and our families.”

I’m super excited for them and their wedding this August! I’m super excited to have gotten to cross of Ruby Beach from my bucket list for locations I’d love to shoot at! Also, a huge shout out to Gabby and Eddie for not only being mega adorable, but also enduring all the ups and downs from their session. You guys rock and I can’t wait to hang out again!
