I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Krista + Cody had an amazing Green Gates at Flowing Lake wedding with all their friends and fam together for one big party. These two are the cutest people ever and the whole time before their first look, Krista was saying how much she’s ready and wants to see Cody. Too cute!! Krista and Cody (and their puppy Mosby) had an amazing day out in Snohomish, WA at this stunning venue with plenty of sunshine, good tacos, and plenty of dance moves.
This was definitely one of my favorite weddings of the year with these two because it just felt like I was shooting a friends’ wedding. We had a blast and it was so much fun getting to hang out and celebrate Krista and Cody again. If you haven’t already seen it, check out their engagement session here! An amazing moment that had me in tears was the maid of honor speech, aka her sister. Krista had recently lost her dad and it was super hard not having him there with her there that day, but her sister remembers writing in her diary about when Krista met Cody back in the day, saying how much their dad would approve and that she’s totally going to marry him. It was truly special and just a perfect speech for her sister. Okay, brb crying again.
Anyway! It was an amazing day filled with amazing people, food, dancing, and Krista and Cody together truly make the world a much brighter and better place. 🙂
So this is how these two met: “We met on tinder initially, our first date was back when we were living in Bellingham. I picked her up and we went to get pizza and then saw The Secret Life Of Pets at the local theater.”
This is their favorite part about being together: “One of our favorite things to do is spending time with our sweet dog, Mosby! I just like knowing that no matter what I’ll have someone to go through all of life’s trials and tribulations with. Even something as simple as a look when we both notice something, or some dumb inside joke that no one else gets. There’s a level of connection that you can’t have with anyone else.”
And this is how their proposal went down: “We went on a seaplane ride around Lake Washington and the greater Seattle area. Then, we went over to Edmonds and had dinner at a restaurant overlooking the water. After dinner, we walked across the street to the beach and sat to watch the sunset. After a few minutes, I pulled out the ring and proposed!”
Congrats to Krista and Cody!!! Love you guys!
