I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Paije and Mitch had a stunning big Hood Canal Vista Pavilion Wedding out at Port Gamble, WA with all their friends and family. Paije and Mitch actually had a small intimate elopement in Kirkland, WA last year due to the pandemic and uncertainty in the wedding venue side of things, but now they had a big wedding out at the Pavilion and it was super amazing! They had their ceremony at the Port Gamble Chapel- which is the cutest little blue church you ever did see, and then had a lovely reception at the Pavilion down the road with toasts, good Olive Garden food, touching toasts, and amazing dancing. Paije kept saying to Mitch “you’re like my best friend and we’re married!”. It was so adorable and everyone there was always showing off their smiles for them.
Some of my favorite moments from their big wedding day that I loved was when Paije had 2 first looks- one with her dad and one with Mitch. She wore a different gown than for their elopement, so they still had a special first look moment together. Her dad cried and it was just so sweet. Once Paije was even walking down the aisle to have her first look with her dad, her mom was crying as soon as she entered the room. It was so special and the first look with Mitch was also magical. Portraits around the church was so unique and cool- I’m forever in love with this church. I also really loved that as a tradition at the Port Gamble Chapel, you get to ring the bell of the church right after the ceremony. All their guests went outside to hear the bell ring and so Paije and Mitch got to ring it on the second floor of the chapel. Super sweet and their faces just lit up while they were doing it!
So this is how the proposal went down: “Mitch proposed to me at sunset on Juanita Beach in Kirkland where we had many dates together during the year.” And that’s exactly where we had their elopement and portraits done last year! It was really special and all their own- which is how your wedding day should be!
These two met on Match.com a few years back now and it was love at first sight. They love to travel, go on walks together, and just all around be together. They are truly each other’s best friends and it was so cute and special to be their photographer for both their elopement and big wedding. So a huge congrats to Paije and Mitch!! Y’all are amazing and we wish you all the happiness in the world! Cheers!
