Hotel Bellwether Wedding

Kathryn and Daniel had a windy Hotel Bellwether Wedding that blew everyone away! Bellingham came through with its “windier” side and made for the most EPIC images! Undoubtably, Kathryn looked like an absolute model with her dress and veil riding the waves of the wind. It was a great idea for me to “hire nature” to show out the way that it did! LOL

Furthermore, this pair is just incredibly adorable, and their Hotel Bellwether Wedding did not disappoint! Surrounded by the magic of circling seagulls, and being framed by the stunning light house- their first look brought me to welling up! However, they tipped my welling into tears with their beautiful “private vows!) This has become one of my favorite new traditions that I am seeing at my weddings recently.

Following their intimate vows and first look, the bride and groom tied the knot overlooking the Bellingham Bay! This ceremony was literally overflowing with love, light and happiness!

Additionally- little flex for me, I sweet talked the front desk into getting us on their General Managers boat that was right on the docks! This meant, all the sunset photos on the boat- so unique and complimentary of their wedding day! Lastly, we scurried up to their lighthouse honeymoon suite for golden hour which added another beautiful and personal touch to their day!

How did they meet?!

“Despite having many other classes together in college, we met in our last year of school after Daniel made a Harry Potter pun in class which prompted Kathryn to ask their mutual friend who he was. Following Kathryn *maybe* initiated every social media follow possible at the time, we ended up talking over Christmas break after a series of cute family pet snaps were exchanged, which led to our first date – homemade spaghetti made by Daniel along with some of our favorite tunes which marked the beginning of forever together.”
