I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!

Lairmont Manor Wedding
Cheryl and Will had a gorgeous and intimate Fall Lairmont Manor Wedding this year and it was oh so lovely! They only had like 20 people join them inside the cozy Lairmont Manor while the rain fell down on the roof. We got lucky with being able to do portraits outside before the rain came down, and it was so fun to play all around the Lairmont Manor grounds with these two cuties! Their first look was beyond adorable and just them being willing to do all the poses/ locations I’ve always wanted at this location- they are my soulmates!
Cheryl had the look of the woman that actually haunts Lairmont Manor, and when I mentioned that to her, she said “that’s what I was going for!” haha She wore all vintage accessories, her vintage gown, everything was giving 1920’s glam and she looked incredible! Will and his son got ready together and it was super adorable to see these two get each other ready.
Lairmont Manor is really one of my all time favorite venues. Not just because I know the staff personally, but because of how unique and gorgeous it is rain or shine. But when it rains, it looks mega moody and I thrive with it!
Cheryl and Will are my soul mates since the start of our first email and then zoom call. We just knew that our energy’s matched, our styles matched, and their spirit was just so lovely. I hate that they live far away in California, but hey, just another excuse to go visit them!
A little more about these two amazing people: “Will and I have been together since the first moment we met in July 2023. We were both moving along through our mending journeys, having both been through previous marriages, so we entered our relationship cautiously at first, however, quickly realizing that we just…worked. It was easy, as it’s supposed to be. As time went on, we realized that we were literally aching for each other when we were apart. It was clear we were meant to be together.
From the beginning of our dating, I told Will that I would “never get married again,” and he was ok with that. However, as our love grew, I became more and more fond of the idea, realizing that we had found something very special. Will decided to take a leap of faith and asked me to marry him September 2024 at the top of Whatcom Falls, in Bellingham, WA, with an amazing vintage ring – my favorite. I, of course, said yes.
Will and I enjoy arts, crafts, and vintage treasure hunting. Will is an amazing painter and I love all types of crafting, specifically sewing and floral design. We have a lovely curated collection of vintage items we find along our travels, including a vintage locket collection, vintage cameras, and vintage picture frames for his art.
We both feel the best part of being together is that we work. We both recognize what it takes to make a relationship and marriage work. Effort and choosing each other each and every day. We also recognize when to pick our battles. Our previous experiences have allowed us to be together in a healthy and wholesome way. Letting our love be front and center.
With Will, I gain not only a husband, but an amazing mother-in-law, and the very best step-son. The voids in my heart have been filled.”
I’m not crying, you’re crying!!
So a huge congrats to these two perfectly vintage lovely people! Cheers to Cheryl + Will! I’ll see you soon in CA!
