Where to begin! Dylana and Erik had a stunning rainy Lairmont Manor wedding in the gorgeous Bellingham, WA this past fall and it was such an amazing day! Their florals were on point, the design of it all and how beautifully decorated it all was- just perfect. Dylana and Erik are the sweetest souls on this planet and it was such an awesome day shooting their wedding. We got rained on just a tad right at the start of the ceremony that went into the afternoon/ evening, but that didn’t’ stop these two cuties from smiling all night long.

I met Dylana and Erik a few years back at one of their friends’ wedding I was photographing and we hit it off! I just love the way Erik looks at Dylana and how he was just ready to take care of literally everything to make their day perfect for each other. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is doing good, and all while looking incredible together. I could not stop taking photos of these two gorgeous people and it was so fun to play in the rain together! All their guests and family were so fun and this was seriously one of my favorite weddings of 2023. Even with the rain (which I always welcome in the PNW), everything was stunning, unique, gorgeous, and cozy 🙂 A perfect fall cozy day!

Also shout out to the hair + makeup gal who killed the demon spider downstairs in the bridal suite. You’re a superhero and I still have nightmares about that thing. Gross!

SO this is how Dylana and Erik met: “We met on bumble when we were both still in college. Erik was about to graduate in a few months and we weren’t sure if he was going to get a job and move away from Seattle. But he ended up staying in Seattle, and we were able to continue dating :)” And this is how their proposal went down: “We got breakfast at the cafe where we had our first date, and then we walked around the UW campus. We finally sat down on a bench in the quad under the cherry trees, and this is where Erik proposed.” Too cute!!

This day was absolutely awesome and I wish it lasted all night long! Lairmont Manor is not only one of my favorite venues to shoot at, but Bellingham will always be my true home 🙂 A perfect PNW day 🙂 Cheers to Dylana and Erik! YAY!

“We met Sarah Jane while she was photographing a friend’s wedding and we were blown away by her skills. She was so professional, while also being kind, laid back, and hilarious.

After seeing how amazing our friend’s wedding photos turned out, deciding to work with her at our own wedding was a no-brainer. She was the first vendor that we hired, and from our first meeting with her, we could tell that she had some serious wedding planning skills as well as photography skills. As we got closer to the wedding date, we met with Sarah Jane to go over last minute details, and we were blown away by how organized and genuinely excited she was throughout the entire planning process.

The day of the wedding, Sarah Jane went out of her way to make sure my husband and I were taken care of – even bringing us food and drinks, and making sure we had a few minutes alone to rest after the ceremony. You can tell how much she cares about her clients!

On the wedding day, she made our guests feel so comfortable in front of the camera during the both formal portraits and the reception. We had several guests comment after our wedding on how great she was. During the reception, she blended right in with the guests, taking candid photos of everyone partying and dancing.

After the wedding day, Sarah Jane stayed in contact with us, even sending us a sneak-peak preview of some of our photos just 3 days after the wedding so that we could reminisce during our honeymoon! Now, months after our wedding, we are obsessed with how the final gallery turned out.

Wedding planning is a stressful process, and hiring a photographer as skilled and professional as Sarah Jane alleviated so much of our anxiety – best decision we could have made!”
