Madi + Garrett | Lake Wilderness Lodge Wedding | Maple Valley, WA

Madi & Garrett are married and all is right with the world! These two are so adorable together and totally vibe with each other. Their wedding at Lake Wilderness Lodge was one of the prettiest and it was so much fun to photograph.

We got to hang out for their engagement session at Manitoe Park in Spokane, WA (a city where my husband went to school and we hold this place near and dear to our hearts) and now they had their wedding at Lake Wilderness (where I actually grew up throughout middle school and high school!) so these two are totally our people!

Madison & Garrett met in the most unexpected way”: paired as partners in chemistry class in high school! They spend an entire semester hardly speaking unless it was about their chemistry homework, labs, and projects until Garrett messaged Madison the next summer on a whim. After a dat spent hanging out together in their hometown, Lake Stevens, they decided to go on a date the next day! The rest is history (or in this case chemistry!) They have now been dating for almost 4 years before getting engaged but will be closer to 6 years when they get married. These two love to go hiking together, go on road trips, and going out for food and drinks. Madison wrote that “it’s nice to always have someone to share your day with whether great or horrible. We are the best of friends”.

When asked if there is something they are looking forward to in the future, they respond, “We are looking forward to starting new adventures together in new places. We are so excited to have a beautiful family in the future.”

Their wedding day was so amazing and had all the adorable details. From the special place settings, to Madi having something new, borrowed, old, and blue. So much energy on the dance floor, tears at the ceremony, this wedding had it all and it was so incredibly beautiful. It was supposed to rain right when their ceremony was going to start, but no rain came and it was sunny and gorgeous. Hallelujah! It was so much fun getting to dance with everyone and soak in their special day.
