Jessica + Andrew | Lavender Manor Spokane Wedding
Oh boy you guys… this wedding… Jessica and Andrew are some of my closest friends and they got married last weekend at the Lavender Manor Spokane Wedding. Ok, I’m going to try not to cry with this one. Their wedding was so emotional for me because I have known Jessica for almost 20 years. We grew up together and so being their wedding photographer was so special to me and just knowing and being there through their whole love story was just incredible to watch.
Jessica and Andrews wedding was so filled with emotion, love, and special moments. These two love each other so much that you can always feel the electricity around them. They love spend time together laughing, hanging out with friends, and just caring for others. Their hearts are so big for each other, for God, and their friends and family, that it was clearly shown throughout their whole day.
From their private love letter reading to each other (no first look but they held hands!), their rustic and elegant country barn decor, their personal custom decorations, and to the tears Andrew shed when he saw his bride for the first time— this wedding was incredible. There was a moment when Jessica was walking down the aisle with her dad and Andrew saw her, crying, someone whispered to Andrews mom, “that’s his bride”. It was such a beautiful moment and everything just felt like they fit so well together. I’m so beyond excited for these two as they enter married life and I hope they love each other more and more each day. These two have a very special place in my heart so… okay now I’m crying.
Cool story about Andrews wedding ring: Jessica found this silver ring one day randomly and started wearing it for a couple years. One day, when discussing what rings to get for Andrew, he tried it on randomly and it fit absolutely perfectly. What are the odds! For Christmas, Jessica surprised him with this ring and wanted him to wear it as his wedding ring. He wore it around his neck while they were engaged and now it’s his official wedding band. It was so beautiful and such a fate thing that this happened!
I’ve had the honor and privilege to watch their love grow over the years. I was the one hiding in the bushes while Andrew proposed on the side of the Spokane River one fall afternoon and now we got to celebrate their wedding day under the most beautiful weather. Seeing their love for each other grow was so beautiful and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for them next. Love you guys so much!

“Boss Babe + Miracle Worker!”
Sarah is a Boss Babe! In all seriousness she knows how to get things done and is a badass miracle worker when it comes to photographing your wedding day! We had 17 people in my bridal party, which included some rather distractible groomsman, but Sarah had them all lined up and facing her in the blink of an eye. We also had two antsy flower girls and one high-energy ring bearer, but Sarah was very good at being patient and helping them focus for the shots.Sarah is very talented at figuring out beautiful backdrops, lighting, and poses. Our venue had so many scenic views and Sarah was great at capturing each one. The detail shots she took were gorgeous as well. As a bride you plan so many small details that tend to get lost on the wedding day, but with these photos I can look back and remember all of those precious elements. Sarah was also very helpful at keeping everyone on track and helped us stay ahead of schedule! Have no fear because she also boogied her way around the dance floor to get shots of our friends and family dancing, which I will cherish forever.
Sarah is very good at making people feel comfortable while also managing to wrangle that one groomsman who doesn’t stop cracking jokes. She was super responsive and great at communicating throughout the whole time leading up to our wedding. Her personality is hilarious and welcoming, which helps create a relaxing environment for everyone. Sarah’s passion for photography is evident in every shot she takes and she will go above and beyond your expectations. Seriously a gem through and through!”
