I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Michelle and Felix had a Moody Lord Hill Farms Wedding in Snohomish, WA blanketed in rich pops of pastels. Prior to the ceremony, Michelle and Felix had a first look on the docks down by the pond. These two read their private personal vows to each other before they took their union to the alter. It was such an emotional moment for them and created such an indescribable tone of intimacy for their festivities to come.
During this moody Lord Hill Farms Wedding, Michelle and Felix were married underneath a gorgeous wooden pergola, draped in snow white cloth and plush pink florals. Unfortunately in traditional Washington fashion, the weather was a touch all over the place. This shifted the remainder of the celebration indoors, but did not halt all the love, smiles and fun to behold during the cocktail hour and reception. However, their beloved puppy Yoshi was not able to attend the wedding. Undoubtably, he was there as an adorable little figurine and stamped onto treat bags for each guest to take home with them! Such a unique touch to incorporate their individuality and fur family.
Furthermore, Michelle had another surprise for everyone in attendance of their Lord Hill Farms Wedding by changing dresses! Her dresses were both absolutely breathtaking. They both showed her personality and fit her like a glove! She was not alone in the bouts of the unknown, as Felix shocked everyone with an impromptu lap dance for Michelle in the middle of the reception. It was so fun and played into the love these two have for one another perfectly! This wedding celebration was drenched in so much love, laughter and let’s not forget- dance moves!
The Proposal: The proposal was slated for December 27th, 2023 in Boston. It was quite a rocky journey to get there, because Seattle was experiencing an ice storm at that time (I’m sure you all remember the cars sliding off of Cap Hill). Despite delayed and cancelled flights, we made it to Boston late Christmas day. A few days later the proposal went down. We were exploring Boston and it was a beautiful sunny but freezing cold day. Michelle wanted to go back inside to warm up, but I insisted we stay out a few more hours. I suggested we visit a local art museum (already a red flag, I’ve never done that) and on the way there we took a detour along a beautiful board walk where our family and friends had set up a bouquet and lights along the riverwalk. Michelle said, “Wow, someone just left their flowers there, what a shame.” To her surprise, they were for her! The proposal was a huge success and we were able to celebrate with all the friends and family members who came to help. After the proposal, we went to a Celtics game and also late night karaoke. It was a blast!
