Megan + Sam | Crystal Mountain Resort Wedding

Enumclaw, WA

Megan and Sam had an absolute beautiful Crystal Mountain Resort wedding in Enumclaw, WA filled with a few gondola rides, a super foggy ceremony, and mountain-filled golden hour portraits. Basically a perfect day! These two invited all their close friends and family to this epic wedding venue and it was such a party! Even though the ceremony was filled with dense fog up at the top of the mountain, we got word during dinner that Rainier came out with plenty of sunshine at the end of the day, so we ran back up the mountain to get some bridal portraits. This was my first time shooting at the Crystal Mountain Resort and it was amazing!! The location was so cool to explore, the gondola ride alone was so epic with those mountain views!

Megan and Sam are so perfect together. They are so sweet and funny- they totally found each other and all is right with the world with these two together. Their little puppy, Otto, also made an appearance with his dapper puppy outfit after their first look and it was so darn adorable! When we got word the mountain came out during dinner, we actually got the catering team to box up our dinners, and we ate our wedding dinners to-go in the gondola ride up to the top of the mountain. it got a little messy so our new saying is “what happens in the gondola, stays in the gondola” haha So fun!

Okay, so here is how these two beautiful people met: “We met at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo Michigan after Megan had just transferred there her Junior year! Technically our first date was grocery shopping…thankfully I made up for that quickly by taking her to a pumpkin patch where we got lost in a corn maze together. We’ve been inseparable ever since.”

This is what they love to do together: “Pizza on Friday nights, hiking and exploring the PNW, spoiling our cat and dog, hanging out on our boat, enjoying the little life moments, like binge watching Netflix, walking around Target for no reason, etc. Getting to leave an impact on our family, friends, and community through our love and positivity.”
