I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Mackenzie and Jason got married at the Mighty Tieton Warehouse in the cute city of Tieton, WA and it was the perfect dark, moody, fall wedding ever.
“Who knew that a love of local craft beer could bring two souls together? When Mackenzie’s younger brother Orion started working at the Beer Shoppe, he worked most shifts with Jason. Mackenzie would go to meet her parents for a pint on Thursdays, and soon Mackenzie wasn’t going to visit just Orion. A friendship over the bar soon began. Almost immediately after Jason and Mackenzie decided to transition from “good friends” to “dating”, they knew they had found their life partners. Their first official date was to the fair, along with his daughter Rowan, and then to Fresh Hop Festival. It was exactly the perfect start to their romantic relationship. Jason, Rowan and Mackenzie slipped right into being a small family, supported immensely by their own parents and families. In their first year together, they experienced the greatest of joys, and deepest of griefs. A true test for any coupling. Two years after their first fair date, Jason and Rowan took Mackenzie to the fair again, only this time instead of giving her a corndog with extra mustard, he gave her a ring and a promise. They are so excited to start their married life together, making memories, and loving each other every day, and extend love and thanks to those who have loved them before and since uniting.”
These two had an awesome moody fall wedding day surrounded by the best dancers and their best friends and family. With remembrances of Mackenzie’s father that passed away 2 years ago, their day was a wonderful reminder of his love for their family and their love for him. Such a gorgeous wedding day and we even found some sweet brick and a mini orchard for portraits! Their fall color scheme was on point and cute little pennies on their place settings were an adorable little touch.
Their favorite thing about being together: “The way we match each other. I don’t believe in soulmates, but I do believe finding the right person and making it work. And that’s what we do. We just fit together and make it work every single day.”
SO SWEET! Check out their fun fall wedding day below.
