Mt. Rainier Elopement

Kelli and Dave had a magical and romantic Mt. Rainier Elopement over on the Sunrise side of the mountain earlier this month and it was epic. These two love birds flew from Chicago to elope on the mountain side together just the two of them. Their elopement day was so special and they made it all their own with drinking beers at the end of the night, getting each other ready, and playing with the Jeep lights that they always rent while on vacation/ adventuring. Kelli and Dave are so cool, they are both firefighters over in Chicago and their love story is seriously from a romantic comedy.

We started the day out in Naches, WA at a cozy little cabin, these two dressed each other, put on their hiking boots together, and then we were off to Sunrise. We adventured down the trail and found the perfect place to exchange vows overlooking the valley in front of the stunning Mt. Rainier. I love that in both their vows, without telling each other what they wrote, they both said that each other feels like home to them. My heart! Just the sweetest and loveliest ceremony on the side of the mountain. We then played all around the place with the view and the light. Mt. Rainier has one of the best alpine glow I’ve seen so of course, we couldn’t stop taking their photo. Kelli and Dave always rent a Jeep on their adventures so naturally, we had to play with the headlights and dance in front of it. We then ended their day with adding some cozy Packwood, WA sweatshirts they picked up on their journey, and some cold beers to share. Once Kelli put her sweatshirt on, she said “this feels totally more like us”, so we had to get tons of them being adorable together like that.

It was such a beautiful day, filled with happy tears, beer, and so much love. A huge congrats to Kelli and Dave!!
