I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Melissa + Senjin are married and their Spring Creek Homestead wedding day was just so relaxed and special. The day started with a ton of rain showers which forced everyone to move the ceremony location under a nearby white tent that Spring Creek keeps up throughout the summer. Now, this venue, if any of you guys know this, but my husband and I were so fortunate enough to get married at this same venue. So shooting Mellisa and Senjin’s wedding here was such a treat and I can’t wait to shoot more weddings here in the future!
With their rustic barn wedding, they had their bright blue and yellow colors throughout their reception with cute personal touches. They had their whole family put their hard work and creativity into their wedding so every detail was made personally for these two lovebirds. Mellisa even had not one, not 2, but 3 first looks with all the main men in her life: her stepdad, bio dad, and of course her groom. All were emotional and beautiful. The weather just cleared up for their ceremony to be glowing and all the events throughout the day were filled with happy tears and fun dancing.
Here’s how the proposal went down: “We had been planning for a trip to Disney World for September 2018 and then Senjin went to ask my dad (Eugene) and said that he was going to marry me and he was planning on asking me when we went on our trip. Senjin knew that my favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast and on the first day of the trip we were having breakfast at the “Be Our Guest” restaurant and Senjin had been in contact with the crew working and he got them to sit us in the rose room in front of the revolving statue of Belle and Beast dancing. Senjin gave them the ring and had them put it in a red cloth shaped like a rose, then he had the waiter present the cloth to me. ( and its funny because when the waiter was setting it down in front of me, she dropped it) but then Senjin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.”
These Mario Cart lovers are married and all is right with the world. Congrats you guys! Check out their wedding gallery below.
