Rock Creek Gardens Wedding and Event Venue | Puyallup, WA

After shooting Robin and Blake’s engagement photos, party and rehearsal dinner, their Rock Creek Gardens Wedding was epic! After hanging out with these two for their engagement shoot, I knew their wedding was going to be extra glamorous! Robin loves sparkles so naturally everything was bougie and perfect for their big day! I was also apart of their rehearsal dinner the evening before their wedding day and the energy was off the charts. Everyone that came was so lovely, happy, and just so excited for these two to tie the knot. There were special speeches from family members and close friends, cake, toasts all around, and a stunning sunset overlooking the water at the Hyatt Regency at Lake Washington in Renton. Personal note: I stayed here that evening and after the wedding and the rooms are so sleek and stunning, and their breakfast is amazing as well 😉

Anyway! The day of their wedding started off all chilly, but the sun was peaking through the morning clouds and trees. Everyone arriving was in high spirits and it felt like a song crescendo. Robin and Blake got ready in the wedding party house (on the venue- it’s specifically for the wedding party + family and there are PLENTY of rooms for everyone to get ready in. A first look by the fountain, wedding party photos along the regal steps leading into the reception tent, and ceremony in the fancy ceremony area on the venue. Everything was so well planned out, detailed, and stunning. Robin always looked like she was in a fairy tale and at one point said “we’re getting our wedding photos done RIGHT NOW!” haha she’s so cute!

The energy was high, the dance floor was on fire, and everyone had the best time. There was an afterparty at the Hyatt as well where everyone enjoyed pizza and drinks together. Overall, this was quite the wedding weekend celebration and it was such a joy photographing it all. Rock Creek Gardens is gorgeous, they know how to host a wedding, and all the decorations, florals, Robin’s dress, everything was on point for Robin and Blake. A huge congratulations to the happy couple!
