I’m known for capturing those didn’t-know-you-were-there shots and busting a move on the dance floor just to get those perfect candids. I also work with you to ensure we incorporate your style and story into your engagement and wedding photos!
Marybeth and Brandon had a cozy and stunning Sanders Estate Wedding out in Auburn, WA last fall and it was so much fun! The evening was filled with bubbles, hugs, and plenty of blooming flowers all over the property! Marybeth and Brandon are so sweet together and it was so much fun capturing these two surrounded by all their friends and family. Their first look by the fountain was stunning, then their private vows among the trees was so beautiful, and I just loved seeing them always holding hands or just being together all the time. Too cute!
There was a silly moment at the start of their day when one of Marybeth’s friends who also got married, had Marybeth undress her to get into her gown, so of course, Marybeth had to have the same thing and her friend also undressed her before slipping into her gown! Friends forever haha I also love that Sanders State is also somewhat haunted- in my opinion haha There was a moment after Marybeth and Brandon signed their license where they were about to go join cocktail hour when a bottle of champagne popped on the deck out of nowhere! So of course, we thought it was the ghost of Sanders Mansion haha
Also we cant forget all the bubbles towards the end of the night! Everyone grabbed a bubble gun and was dancing with them at the end of the night and then we used them for a send off, too, so that was so much fun. If you’re ever stuck with not knowing what to do for a send-off at your wedding, bubbles are a great option and look great in photos!
Alright so this is how Marybeth and Brandon met: “Brandon and Marybeth met while working together at Seattle Children’s Research Institute in a lab that works for cures on various childhood cancers. What started as work-friends quickly bloomed into something much more once Marybeth changed companies, and they never stopped hanging out :)”
And this is how the proposal went down: “We were on our way to Yellowstone National Park, where Brandon had originally planned on proposing. But on the drive there, at 6am, as the sun was coming up – it dawned on Brandon that Marybeth might prefer a proposal *not* in front of a lot of tourists (he was correct!!), so he pulled over on a lookout on the mountain pass between Victor, ID and Jackson Hole, WY under the guise to take pretty sunrise photos….except Marybeth refused to get out of the car to take photos because it was so cold. So, Brandon grabbed the ring and proposed to Marybeth, who didn’t actually answer and just started digging through her bag to find the ring she bought to propose right back :)” Too cute!
Congrats to Marybeth and Brandon! You guys are beyond adorable and your day was such a blast! Thanks so much for having me 🙂 Cheers!
